I know people are trying to be nice in their own way, but what does "I'll pray for you" even mean?
That you will give God some advice?
That you'll beg God not to be too horrible to me?
If God has such a good plan for everyone, why are people always asking him to alter it? And if they are not asking this, what exactly are they doing?

No, we're usually not discriminatory. We consider all the holy books "so called" holy books.
Holy is just a nice synonym for BS.

In the old testament Yahweh says there is none beside him, and Jesus talks about and to Yahweh like he's a separate person. I don't know where people got the idea that they were just different aspects of the same guy.

Wrong, he's actually talking to him. Most prominently when he prays to take that cup away from him. So either we're dealing with a severe case of personality dissorder or we're talking two different personalities.

I said about and to. One notable case of Jesus talking about Yahweh is when someone asks him what is good, and he says "Wwhy are you asking me? There is only one good, and that's god.".

There's over a half dozen separate and distinct deities in the Old Testament. Most of them were just the emperors of the dominant empire at the time the particular fairy tale was made up. It's like the dummies in Indonesia who claim that their local mountain deity got pissed off because some tourists got butt naked on his mountain so he caused an earthquake in May that killed some of the local yokels to show how offended he was. They are on a par with the dummy Pat Robertson.
