Yeah, but would you really be ready to wait some years for the decision? You do know how justice works around here?
Never the less, one would be better off just denouncing that shit to the TV.

Her teacher also said he's looking forward to meeting me next week. It's great to stir folk up sometimes, especially for the right reasons.
If you and she can save even one or two of those littluns before confirmation, it's worth it
It certainly sounds like it is going to cause some people to stop and think, and that is always a good thing, whether or not they came over to the dark side with us. It's when these tangled beliefs go unchallenged that there are problems. Reality doesn't challenge them, because it's irrelevant to reality... which should be a warning sign, really.

You know how these things spread. The whole school and the parents will know about it soon enough. If the teacher wants to ask then he can fill his boots - I'm happy to talk about it.
Was thinking to go in one of my atheist t-shirts, a striking white on black dinosaur eating fish of faith like my pic or the puzzled looking Noah saying "Oh bugger, we're going to need a bigger boat" one. Wife says this might be a bit too much for them to handle just now so I'll go in my work gear I suppose.

If you do end up meeting that teacher and get asked the question, I want to know everything you discussed.

I concur. You'll have to spill the beans on absolutely everything that transpires over there.
But let me make a prophecy. Absolutely nothing will happen. You'll suddenly feel like a hypocrite when people will be "genuinely" trying their very best to seem open-minded, so as not to be inconspicuously dirtied by a heathen like yourself. In other words, if you'll seem to resemble anything at all like a threat to their precious faith, they'll put on this fake smile and nod their heads in an orderly fashion, beyond which point there will be nothing you can do - they will be zoning out, breaking long-pig with the man himself in a cloud nine setting.
At least that's my exp.

I'm a law student, so I know how to speed court decisions really fast, if you ever need help contact me
And even if we had to wait, it would be worth it just to see the face of religious apologists listening to someone who actually knows the law saying how secularism in public school is important.

You better not; the unions'll be straight onto that, mate.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

I think your prophecy will be confirmed. My guess is that nobody at the school is likely to engage with me on the subject. I will update next week though.
I'm still a bit miffed that the head of school thinks it's ok to introduce this type of thing into their education programme. While I'm incredibly pleased that my daughter had the presence of mind, without any prompting from her parents, to step up and be prepared to potentially be singled out for her stand I am still angered that most of her classmates will just be going through these prayers (to an unnamed god as far as I know) because they are scared to say otherwise.
It's bullshit but the Tubbys are starting a mini revolution round here!
