Atheism the unscientific belief (part one, two, and three)

Atheism the unscientific belief (part one, two, and three)
In nature the small merge into the big.
A drop of water will sooner or later merge into the creek.
The creek will merge into the river and the river will merge into the big ocean.
A cell is composed of matter and consciousness.
This consciousness can be tiny as much as you want but nevertheless there is a minute tiny amount of consciousness.
When we eat we absorb these cells.
The physical side of these cells build our body but what happen to the consciousness side of the cells?
Will it die or will enter or better say merge into our bigger consciousness?
According an Atheist point of view when the body die also the consciousness die so there is nothing left there other than
the physical side that build up our body.
Does this belief make any sense?
If it does make sense than why carnivorous people are more aggressive while vegetarians are more relaxed?
It seems that what we eat determine the way we act and think and therefore make sense to say that the consciousness of the
cells in the food that we are eating merge into our consciousness.
If we follow this line of thinking then we also have to consider what happen when our body die.
Will our consciousness die when our body die or will carry on and merge into what our feelings wish to take us?
Why would our consciousness die when as we can see in nature nothing die?
The small always merge into the big so to me it is totally UNSCIENTIFIC to say that with the physical death everything die.  Worship

RE: Atheism the unscientific believe.
Learn what atheist means please.

How long have you been on this forum?

If you must construct a strawman atheist in order to knock it down, then you're off to a non-starter.

What is atheism?

What atheism is not (necessarily)

This is exemplary of how many religious people regard the consciousness and the body. They say things like, "he physical side of these cells build our body but what happen to the consciousness side of the cells?"

I can't wait for the day that we unlock the mystery box that is human consciousness. Then finally we will know how the human brain can create what we call the "self." The ignorance will be driven out and people will be humbled in their humanity and the absence of a soul.

Neimen, i got this dictionary in front of the face and guess what does it say?
It say................The term "atheism" originated from the Greek ἄθεος (atheos), meaning "without god(s)", ............
By the way Neimen why don't you throw your personal dictionary in the face of so many people who post in this forum
when they say that there is no God?
They say that they are atheists.
Please Neimen try to help them too so they know that according to your dictionary atheism doesn't mean that there is no God.  I'm all ears!

Consciousness. You're using the word wrong. Cells do not *have* consciousness, and they are not 'made up' of consciousness. They don't have brains, so they don't have minds, ergo they are not conscious.

You're drunk on Chopra.

You can learn about the strawman fallacy here.

It's not wise to tell people what they believe.

Let us have a bet luka.
You say that the brain create the self.
I say that the consciousness find place in a body (brain included) most in tune with the consciousness.
How much are you prepared to bet?  I'm all ears!

Have you ever seen the big merging into the small?
Have you ever seen the ocean merging into the river?
That is why i said that these sort of believes are unscientific.

So according to you a consciousness must have a brain?
Very interesting indeed Neimen.
So tell me Neimen.
When a creature start having consciousness?
How far have we to go back in the evolutionary line to find out where the consciousness start from?
I thought that you guys believe in science.
Did you know that when you cut a leaf from a plant the plant suffer?
How do we know that?
We know that because scientists have seen how the plant react by using sophisticate instruments.
So how you think that a plant that doesn't have a brain can feel pain?
You guys believe in science but when science tell you that you are wrong you act same same as
religious people that invent some stories to justify the rot.
Shame Neimen shame.  Demon

You don't know what SCIENTIFIC means. It's not things that you recon to be obviously true (which they're not, btw). And anyway - who said atheism is a scientific theory? There's no way to test whether your gods, angels, souls, devils and pixies are real. However scientific method requires, that until you have actual evidence for any of those entities, you should proceed as if they did not exist.

You should realize something - like most of us, you are pretty dumb. You'll do well to assume, that any conclusion, that you came to on your own, using your intuitive "understanding" of the world - is wrong.
