To clarify I do not think that we really could effectively ban Islam even of we wanted too, and nor am I a fun of thought crime. But a more primitive and unsophisticated side of myself would want to see the persecution they wish to use against others used against them.

Woah, calm down there. Banning religion would make all of those people more angry, that's a and b, it really isn't us or them. They're in a declining minority. Soon the rift between progress and backwardness will be so big the former will have to adjust to survive.

You speak of clouded minds - I'd suggest you take a look at your own mind. Ok, so you're bisexual/gay. Maybe you've endured some hardships in your life at the hands of intolerant pricks - I don't know, I don't know your life story. But it looks like you're all for lashing back out at their kind.
You call me a coward, yet you would rather shut these people away, lock them up en masse (not taking in the extraordinary logistic challenges that would present on every level), destroy their texts and buildings, and stamp out their entire ideology through use of force. Tell me, when in history has such action ever resulted in anything other than an endless cycle of bloodshed and bitterness?

There's a saying here which roughly translates as "Don't warn the blind and deaf but let them break their heads. Eventually they'll understand." and this is what I'm gonna do.

NotNamed, putting people in mental institutions is not the same as killing them. If you refuse to understand that, it's not my problem. I'm not gonna apologise for having a different opinion and I don't care whether anyone here sees me as a Nazi.
