Very true! That's something the twits don't realize (or choose to ignore). A boat of that size made of wood would have leaked like a sieve! They couldn't have possibly made it watertight! It would have sunk rather quickly!
Another thing.... they didn't have the tools back then to construct a keel for a boat of that size! It would not have been possible to manufacture a wooden keel that large!
