You hang out with the wrong crowd, clearly, I know very few people who are actually that bad, and they tend to stick out like a sore thumb amongst the 'average' people.

I didn't know that this was about who we personally know.

Who said anything about bad? It's perfectly normal to be stubborn, self-centered and hostile at times. We're only human. Still, I am nevertheless rather pessimistic about these things: The way I see it the best of us can still be complete assholes and that's rather depressing.
