There's also interpretation. Fight in the way of Allah those who fight you, who are those who fight you? The American soldier with the gun? All Americans who's taxes go to paying for Israeli weapons? The shia/sunni Muslims, whichever one is on the opposite side to you?
I'm not arguing about Islam being violent, I'm just saying if the verses of the quran aren't explicit. If it was there wouldn't be so much information included in brackets after verses.
They do exist; Paulablo, the explicit verses I mean.
They are so obvious and straight forward, either with Arabic or even when translated to any language.
But it's humans, who play gymnastics with the verses to take them out of context & out of meaning, so a verse that says "if they incline to peace, then you too must incline to it" turns into "Muslims are terrorists and must behead all non Muslims".
Pure gymnastics, paul, played by powers that all of us know, either to achieve rightist goals, or zionist agendas, or simply ride on the backs of ignorance to achieve political goals.
The book is obvious. But logical gymnastics are just like that: they make the obvious and clear, mysterious and unclear.
Like accusing the Quran of calling to the stoning homosexuals, while in reality, it's a biblical sentence, that Christians and Jews believe in. Gymnastics, nothing more.
I agree people play gymnastics with the words in the quran to make it look bad, but they also do it to make the quran look good, they do it to make the quran look miraculous and to also avoid any contradictions or anything that could be wrong in the quran.
The quran is full of verses about punishments for indecency, mischief, war, attacking those who attack you. It is vague language whether you accept it is or not. It's full of idiomatic expressions.
Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.
Impersonation is treason.
