Been there, done that. If quoting the passages themselves doesn't show you why Genesis 2 couldn't have happened on the third day, then I don't know what will.
What I am asking for is for you to explain verse 4-8. 4-8 Tell us this all (the rest of Gen 2) happened on the third day before the rains, before any of the seeds on the whole earth took root. God created Man, The Garden and Eve apart from the rest of creation. In that the Garden is special. a preserve that God treats differently than the rest of the planet. that it was on an accelerated track, and was made separately and kept from the rest of creation.
