I was recently corrected on this point by both Rhythm and Jormungandr. According to several different Federal agencies, the mentally ill make up a disproportionately small percentage of gun murders.
I agree that they make up a small percent of gun murders. But how about mass murders with guns? The spreadsheet is from mother jones and links mental health to incident. See columns J and K
