I agree that life is quite depressing for many people, including myself. However, I think your method is quite problematic. Being depressed and beaten-up doesn't entail the necessity or rationality of believing in god, much less his existence. Life is miserable so we invent god and attribute this misery to him? Well I think this is rubbish. Plus if such an entity existed and was responsible for this misery, then I'm inclined to conclude that he's unworthy of worshipping. You begged the question by assuming there's a buyer and a seller. You'll have to offer actual evidence not conjectures
