Wrong, they were created equal partners, Eve broke that partnership by not working out a decision with Adam, in other words she struck out on her own instead of communicating with her help mate. God created them for each other, as one, thus Eve's creation from Adam's rib. Their relationship was to be as the relationship God wanted to have with them, trusting each other. What Eve did was worse than just the disobedience of eating the fruit, she betrayed the trust between God, Adam and herself. Thus the punishments each received. Because of the way God created Adam and Eve He still expects trust, obedience, faithfulness between a husband and wife, it's still to be one in and with each other.
Also to address the OP God created in ways that no one else could possibly claim. Often I hear why can't God heal amputees, He showed He could by making a living being from a rib bone.
