It's funny how one sentence has been pulled to its limits and twisted around...
I think what CM means here is that Trump's hate for the minorities (in this case, Muslims... but it could apply to any, be it gays, Mexicans, Blacks, the poor, etc) is providing these people with courage to do these despicable acts... perhaps they think they'll get off unscathed.
For everyone, the example comes from above.... it starts with the parents and eventually it comes to the law makers, the politicians.
