Why is religion in the business of moral policing?
#60
RE: Why is religion in the business of moral policing?
When you behave selectively about how to parse logic and reason, when you coincidentally happen to get something right, it's not really for the right reasons, is it? No more than just hitting the right part of a dartboard by pure luck. If you're not going to base a worldview on reality then why bother co-opting rationality?
Religions were invented to impress and dupe illiterate, superstitious stone-age peasants. So in this modern, enlightened age of information, what's your excuse? Or are you saying with all your advantages, you were still tricked as easily as those early humans?

---

There is no better way to convey the least amount of information in the greatest amount of words than to try explaining your religious views.
