At the back of my yard is a concrete ditch that runs through the neighborhood. I think draining it toward that would get rid of it.
However, the yard is draining on it's own now for some reason even though the rain hasn't slowed down.
Something probably gave way downstream from you. Those concrete drainage ditches can act as dams until they spring a leak.
