What beliefs would we consider reasonable for a self proclaimed Christian to hold?

They're easily explicable in terms of human psychology, so there's not an ounce of need to resort to the supernatural for explanations, not unless you're a believer who needs the supernatural explanations to be true for their own psychological comfort.

In other words you have done 0 or little research. However IANDS has done a lot of research and so have many hospitals in more than one country.

I have read some stuff from NDE research sites. I just don't see anything compelling about them. They're products of human psychology, not supernatural experiences. You've had vivid dreams, no? Do you attribute them to God just because they contain vivid details?

Because everyone sees things differently. If you were a witness to an automobile accident do you think that all of the other witnesses would have the exact story. I can tell you from experience that they wouldn't.

Then that lends more credence to naturalistic explanations rather than supernatural ones, and therefore the naturalistic ones are more reasonable to hold to than the latter. If you're interested, look up Bayesian reasoning.
