Getting back to Abraham. What twisted ethical viewpoint would consider sacrificing your own son a virtue? The Sufi's have always tried to soften the blunt savagery of Islam and the other two perpetuators of this twisted moral teaching. With good reason. It is a heinous story that should be denounced and ridiculed. Any one who considers Abraham a role model should not have children.

The moral virtue is simple: loyalty.
Abraham loved his son. And waited to a very long age until he had him. So sacrificing was a test for loyalty more than anything.

Still; if chose to do it God will stop it -like the real story-, if he chose not to, his son will also live. So his son will live in both scenarios.

Loyalty.

Fuck that shit! Abraham was a psychopath! If loyalty is an option for you, then you are a psychopath too!
