Why don't we have people named Jesus?

You don't know many Hispanic people, do you?

The name Jesus in Spanish doesn't translate to Jesus the Messiah as it does in English.  When Hispanics name their child Jesus, there's no connection to the Jesus of the bible.  I figure some English-speaking parent will probably eventually name her child Jesus in order to make a statement and get a rise from people.

Well that's bullshit right off. It'd be like saying that Séan isn't the Irish for John, or Johan the Swedish equivalent.
