Ummagumma did it for me. Uriah Heep held a birthday party for wizard, that was cool. Rick Wakeman took me to the center of the Earth and back out Mt. Etna.

With the acid it was fucking awful. I was with a guy who liked death metal and another guy who liked aphex twin. I went off on my own a lot to go enjoy the acid and get away from the shit music.

There were times when music didn't mesh with the visuals and ... mentals(?) ... but sometimes the whole came together beautifully. I had a black Persian named "Ratz of God" who, I swear, danced to our music. He loved "Astronomie Dominie" and watching him dance while the walls were doing a hula dance was amazing.
