He may not have committed treason if we want to be pedantic.  But it certainly is possible for trump to commit treason at least in theory, because, at least in theory, L’etat, C’nest pas trump.

Of course it's possible for him to commit treason. But it isn't possible for him to have committed treason.  Nothing 'pedantic' about it.  Treason is a very specific offense, and the conditions haven't existed in which that offense can take place.

Whether trump could have committed treason to a large degree depend on interpretation of the word “enemies”.   If the interpretation is broad, then trump can fry, or preferable end in a manner much much more prolonged and continuously unpleasant.
