It's become very difficult to determine the extent to which illiberalism is actually growing on the left. The idea, itself, is very much a product of things like the heritage foundation even if it is. I soured on the left more for the failures of the radical wing commonly described as the illiberal set, than because they were in any neatly definable way illiberal.
