Here there are laws against provable discrimination.
Have never run across it here. An employer may not ask. It is also considered bad manners here to discuss religion socially, say at a party. One-to-one only if you know a person very well.
It's come up once for me; at a friends house . One of his adult daughters had recently been converted by on of those appalling happy clappy churches, and was full of fervour. Because she 's my friend's daughter, I remained civil and changed the topic as soon as I could.
This forum is the only place where I discuss my beliefs in any detail. That's because it's anonymous
