It’s probably more accurate to say that you oppose violence, as “their tactics” are largely protest and protest support.
Their lack of central authority is, in this regard, both a pro and a con. They’re resistant to the usual movement breaking tactics police employ, but also can’t reign in a punch happy member.
It has, ofc, occurred to antifa organizers that any violence, provoked or unprovoked, will be grist fir the propaganda mill. Idk that it actually matters much from a practical standpoint, as antifa would get blamed for violence even if they didn’t do it, lol.
If I saw richard spencer walking down the street I’d be tempted to punch him in the face, and if u did, the headlines would run “undercover plainclothes antifa terrorist assaults prominent conservative commentator” on the yellow press come the next morning.
