Depends. Beyond the easy answer of dumbshits gotta dumbshit, the ideology is (sometimes) well packaged and smuggled into venues where it can siphon credibility. Scientific racism is still racism, but it hit's the "scientific" "skepticism" and "dumbshit" buttons. It's a powerful trifecta. Then...you add in a little freeze peach, and you have a four course meal.
