Oh so God only punishes bad people. I haven't noticed. So why didn't God punish Hitler before he caused so many people to die? Or why he didn't punish Muhammad before he invented false religion that got millions of people astray?
Even in that flood many babies died - where they all evil?
And also you didn't answer me: if you were in position of people in Old Testament who were ordered to kill children by God, would you have obeyed God's orders?
I said "evil" got those guys drowned. God is not evil and not into punishment. So God didn't punish Hitler. But evil got him in the end. And evil is still messing up his name. Just think about the consequences his family and the nation is still suffering as result. Religion has to be seen as evil before people will refrain from it.
Evil that humans allow in their lives also have the consequences on "babies". In times of war babies die. But God did warn us about it.

Those guys in the OT would never have understood "Love your enemies". God takes it step by step. Building us up.
