That's just not a credible hope. The people you'd be fighting today are a few generations removed from the boogeymen in your stories - but they'll fight as hard as anyone else ever did for their home. It doesn't really matter whether people have lived in a place since the dawn of time, my kids have only been alive for ten years and they know where home is.
You might have better luck picking fights with geriatrics in nursing homes..and at least they'll have had something to do with your complaint - then again, those are the guys who thoroughly embarrassed the islamic world, leading to your current pathology of shame, so....they might do it again.
