The concept of hell and it's acceptance by the faithful are pretty much the main reason that I don't feel that there is any value in the biblical narrative, or the relative morality of those who offer it up. There are great places to make biblical narratives powerful positive metaphors and teaching devices, all shattered instantly by four letters. Unfortunate.
