Ok, here’s a solution: 

1) Drop the hearing process you use (everyone says it’s broken anyway) and admit everyone who claims to be a refugee. This will at least give them safe haven until their individual cases can be sorted out.

2) Settle these people on Federal land. Create refugee towns.

3) Feed (and otherwise fund) these until they are either self-sustaining or determined to be deportable.

Are there problems with this? Of course (though none of them are financial), but it’s a helluva lot better than simply throwing up your hands and sending them back to the hell holes they ran away from.

Why would we need to? You’ve got the room and the wherewithal to deal with this yourselves.

I can assure that if Haitian refugees made it to our shores, we wouldn’t simply dump them.  We don’t turn away the needy, but our situation is much different from yours.
