That's not the point.  Seeking asylum should be an equal opportunity thing, not dependent on where you enter and what country you are coming from.  Biden is doing it because it's a cost free way to make a big problem he has significantly smaller.  It's for the benefit of the Democratic administration, not for us Americans

But not deporting them could be sold as a benefit for Americans. USians are shying away from service jobs because of shitty pay and shitty treatment - immigrants would a ready-made labour force to fill that hole. $8/hour, an uncertain schedule, no benefits and abusive customers who didn’t get enough pickles on their burger? SCORE!!
