Another angle to this issue of police brutality is that many municipalities use their police force as a revenue generator through the issuing of moving violations. In some cases the abuse is significant, where the cops issue more tickets than the city has residents. Millions of dollars are generated this way, and in some rare cases an angry motorist argues with the cop or even yells at him and gets dragged from his vehicle, cuffed and jailed with all sorts of made up charges. We are supposed to trust a government organization that does this? Of course, what area of town do these violations occur most? The poorer, darker skinned areas.
