Your rifle is also entirely unlikely to end up in trace data. The point of a buyback isn’t to get your guns- but, just as an interesting data point- buybacks do end up getting alot of very expensive custom rifles. One assumes the original owner, who may have a lot of real and sentimental value plowed in, has either died or abandoned the gun. Some may be stolen, as well.
