I'm fine with "fuck cops", and with seeking a utopia. If they could show just a little bit of discipline I might change my mind, but I'm not holding my breath...and as for the other thing, if utopia isn't the goal.....what is? Just one fewer killing? Fuck that. I don't think it's bananapants to insist that no one..literally and absolutely no one.... dies from a gunshot wound within the borders of the united states. Not even one inflicted by cops!
This isn't me arguing with you, per se.... it's me suggesting that you can just say you'd really rather prefer that gun deaths were a non-thing. It's not dirty. Know how many people were beaten to death with buggy whips in the us this year? None. Didn't used to be that way.... The idea that a hypothetical us in which no one ever gets shot is a utopia is ridiculous on it's face. There would still be plenty of absolutely fucked up shit to improve on even if we managed that.
