In using the word 'some' you are still attempting to establish a principle:
She is a Christian
She is lying (unproven assumption) AND lying BECAUSE she is a Christian, (unproven)

Yes, SOME Christians most certainly lie. However it has NOT been established specifically or 'sometimes' some/any Christians lie BECAUSE they are Christians.
