So again: We need civilized and logical solutions to these problems. Religious fanaticism will not get anyone anywhere. In fact I believe that these religious ideologies are some neo-fascist ideologies designed to keep the Middle East completely messed up so that imperialist power can end up dictating their will in the region. (But that’s one theory among many others) 

Civilized and logical solution would be sanction followed by use of force. If all else fail then genocide must be stopped by force of arms and rogue state brought to order with violence.

I’m also not terribly sanguine about the possibility of ‘civilized and logical solutions’ to religious fanaticism. The latter has shown itself to be incredibly resistant to the former.
