I see an atheist nation to be peaceful if only the vast majority of people are willingly abandoning religion for logic and reasoning on free will. communism isnt one of those, they forcefully shut down religions and churches to achieve the complete devotion of citizens to the single political party, this has nothing to do with intellectual knowledge. It cant be peaceful if it uses violence and terror. I came from Vietnam, they let people practice whatever religion they want to but all the place of worship is government-monitored and most of the time they are ran by government which is filled with political propagandas. Anybody who wishes to gain religious independence from the state would result in imprisonment or torture.

Being an atheist and as against religion as I am, I would never support any nation that take away the rights of the people to practice whatever religion they want to, neither would I ever support any nation that force everybody to practice a particular religion or non-religion.
