God is not responsible for OUR decisions for we make them. Babies do not make decisions (well to live or die, be born or not born) the parent does so the parent is responsible for its baby.
That whooshing sound is the point going way over your head.
I *never* said that adults aren't responsible for thier decisions. Of course infants aren't, either, having not the mental capacity or knowing the difference between what is right and wrong.
Contrast that to the Genesis myth, and the parental "God" and his infant-like "children" Adam and Eve, who also knew not the difference between right (good) and wrong (evil), having not yet eaten of the so-called "tree of knowledge". Do you even see the symbolic message in that fairy tale? "Seek knowledge, and you're fucked."
Let's also not forget that your "God", being omniscient, knew what would happen, and being omnipotent, had the power to make it otherwise. Or so it would be if the whole business wasn't a pile of bullshit.
Your God, if he exists, is a shitty parent.
Furthermore, since your "God" must know (you know, being all-knowing, and almighty and all that) that I wouldn't believe a word of it, and he'd be forced to condemn me for it. Which, is a bit a farce, since he's the one that rigged the game to begin with.
P.S. You aren't the first believer to come through here with that exact same argument, not by a long shot. Better step up your game.
