In fairness he does drive a souped up Renault Clio boy racer car. I guess they took it just because of that.

That does explain it. Boy racer, speeding in a typical Renault Clio and without having a licence on him.
To be honest I'm not surprised. The amount of accidents and deaths caused by boy racers is very high. Young lads have built up a bad reputation for reckless driving.
