I live here, I am. But without being born dark skinned most people will never know what I see, the way people look at you differently. As if you are not a person at all, mexicans, americans same shit. I could change my attire dress up in what is considered nice clothing and people would think I'm trying to be white. But I choose to dress the way I do and people see me as some savage, I have cholos come up to me ey homes que pasa? And then they are disturbed that I do not talk like them. Being american can be overrated.
