That and Ingraham suggesting that another way can be found that doesn't involve compromising hard line Republican stances.

This was the "Southern Strategy", which involved stoking racism and pumping white southerners full of fear so they vote Republican. Not sure where the new well of bigotry and fear is going to come from.
