The funniest thing to me about the attempts to justify superhuman aging that is mentioned in the old testament is the fact that Christians do it at all. I mean when you believe something so ridiculous, why even bother? If I claimed my ancestors were made out of green cheese, do I come up with a possible explanation as to how it would be possible? No. Any explanation for people living to be close to a thousand years old are going to fall well short. Just admit you believe in silly shit for no real reason and let the rest of us move on.
