And how do you explain the "Well if it is true for you than why isn't it true for everyone?" rebuttal Dr. Dawkins made to O'Reilly?Yes, And O'Reilly said, "If it's true to me, and makes me feel good, then there is no harm in that." And Dawkins agreed. So, really, what is Dawkins trying to prove? The conclusion I come up with is, Dawkins makes a claim, but he cannot disprove this claim.
So, in reality, Dawkins says there is no evidence to believe in God, but there is no reason to believe his book if there is no evidence behind it? Remember, opinions are not fact.
I think Dawkins is a crazy man himself claiming religious people are delusional. I think he is trying to escape his own demons.
How many times have I told you that: the burden of proof is on the believer. The default position is NON existence. There has to be evidence OF something before you can give evidence against that something.
Everything we know points to this. Its pure logic. You cannot go about to disprove that which there not any proof of in the first place.
All you need with such things is to realize there is no evidence of such a thing to disprove in the first place.
God cannot be disproved because there is no evidence that there is any God TO be disproved.
You cannot disprove a theory before it exists. God is not a theory. It is a hypothesis without any proof supporting it whatsoever.
It is of course tragic that that guy killed himself over a misinterpretation. Because TGD never says anything about doing such a thing or supports such behavior.
The bible and the Koran on the other hand explicitly say some very sinister things in them. There are huge amounts of people who have died because of religious "beliefs".
