Not to put too much emphasis on personal experiences, but there was that time almost a year ago when I was a gnat's cock away from bleeding to death in a hospital bed. The only thing that went through my mind, other than a sense of relief at going where Sam had gone before, was the thought that I didn't want to get the pretty nurse who was monitoring me into trouble, so I pressed the emergency alert button. Had I not done so, I would definitely not be here typing this now.
Number of prayers= zero.
