How did the Universe Come to be? (my beliefs)

No an eternal context without a beginning avoids the issue of what created whatever it is that exists. Traditionally we call this eternal aspect of existence God though you can still say it's some kind of unintentional purposeless natural force if you really want to. Ignore all the complex natural balance of the physical constants and the overwhelming power of the human experience of God if you like. But we can at least establish the existence of some kind of a God or eternal element the universe exists within.

Or, it could just be that the concept of time is nonsensical in the conditions before the big bang. We could be one of a concurrent series of universes without an end. Time travel might be involved. There are many more possibilities than we can even conceive of; for all we know, the actual truth could be so far beyond our grasp that we never understand the full truth of it.

None of that, however, justifies your belief in a god. Hence the special pleading.
