How did the Universe Come to be? (my beliefs)

you know something can't come from literally nothing so something will always have to exist. Whatever that something is we know it isn't our own physical universe as we observe it as it had a beginning.

I mean nothing created him right! and there was nothing before him right! and he can't have just come from nowhere...you just said so.... so there you have it.. sword of christ says god is impossible.

No. The idea is that the universe is a timed-rooted entity, so cannot have caused itself. So the Christian philosophy is that a timeless entity must have created it. The reason this entity must be sentient is that physics is itself a time-based entity-- you can't have physical causation, because there's no such thing as timeless physics. Therefore, a timeless "magical something" did it, and mind fits the bill better than body.

But saying God was sitting around thinking about making something, and then did, and was pleased, is too simple an anthropomorphism. Obviously, God couldn't be thinking without time, either: or creating anything.
