How can a god, that apparently loves everyone, allow this kind of thing to happen?

Omnipotence is Gods ability to do anything He WANTS to do.
But God is not compelled to do anything.

But if god wanted to do something, he'd be able to? So... he can do anything. Why did you bother classifying this?

People mistakenly think omniscience is a separate quality of God's nature.
But the verb "to know" is a merely a sub-set of God's abilities of which there are many things He can 'do' if He wants.

Can God know the future if He wants? Of course.

Is He compelled to constantly know every aspect of the future. No. Why would He, of all people, need to worry about what might happen as a result of human free will?

So there are things that god doesn't know? Oh, this should be fun.

If god doesn't know everything, then his claims to being capable of knowing anything and doing anything are wrong by default; there is a distinct possibility that one of those things he doesn't know is the fact that there are things he's incapable of doing or knowing, he just doesn't know what they are because he hasn't bothered knowing the fact that he's limited.
