and Drich has at least a few times, assuming my memory is correct, claimed that god communicates ideas in him through dreams. Before he disappeared, Sword of Christ claimed repeatedly that he gains direction from god, or at least that without him his life would have no direction, implying a few things. It's not as if there's no basis at all for asking this question in a public forum where you aren't the only christian responding.

Yes, I know there's some basis. That's why I call it a straw man. A straw man isn't an invention from thin air - it's a distortion of an actual position. If someone says they get general guidance or direction from god, it's a straw man to say that the person should be able to give addresses of missing children.

Bullshit, your god is supposedly omnipotent, he would have no problem guiding someone to a missing child if he so wished.

Beyond that, we are still talking about a god that has the ability to interact with the physical world and relay information, according to the bible. Whether or not god does interact directly with people now, in accordance with your theology he can, so the question of why he doesn't is still pertinent no matter what you believe.

Really, this is just another example of your habit of harping on singular points of an argument to avoid addressing a question that doesn't have an answer you can use to puff up your god.
