If I, being a Christian, wished you a happy Christmas, would you be OK with that? Are there any circumstances you would find it offensive?
I do not care at all, for several reasons.
Christmas, the way it is celebrated in the Western world is more or less a secular holiday.
For me, it is nothing more than a time for family and friends to get together for great food and a great time.
Also, the vast majority of Christmas traditions are not in the least bit Christian. The tree, giving gifts, the ule log, mistletoe, etc are all pre-Christian Pagan practices. They were hijacked by Christianity in order to recruit more Christians.
You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.
