I guess for balance I should start a thread on a Christian forum about how people would feel about being wished happy holidays.
Why would Christians have a problem with 'Happy Holidays'?
After all, the word 'holiday' comes from the phrase 'Holy Days'.
"The word holiday comes from the Old English word hāligdæg (hālig "holy" + dæg "day"). The word originally referred only to special religious days."
You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.
