One of the reasons I've rejected all religions is this notion that God, an omnipotent omniscient "Creator" would feel the need to put his "children" in an eternal time out because they disobeyed his commandments or rejected him. "Oh yeah? Well, I'll show you! I'll put you in hell!" lol
That wreaks more of human beings attaching human qualities to an invisible being.
Even as a Christian, I never really believed in the notions of heaven and hell. They are inventions of man to scare people into submission.
Not to mention, this version of a god sounds evil if he would operate in such a way. :/
