Are you wondering whether christians or atheists are more likely to commit murder? Or are you asking solely about numbers? Because if the latter, the causation is weak between being an atheist and motivation for murder. A better question would be "Have more atheists committed murder in the name of atheism than Christians in the name of Christianity?"
