Something you might want to look into TC, is that prior to the time of Jesus' birth, it was not an uncommon tale that 'the gods' impregnated mortals. It was a widely accepted legend during that time period. Christianity wasn't the first religion to come up with that notion. I don't believe the NT played out like it reads, I think the whole Virgin birth conconction was invented long after Jesus' death in order to have Christianity be both this mysterious and powerful religion. (it is still the dominant religion, worldwide)
It also built a shrine around the notion of chastity elevating ''virgins'' above others. Which is why the Catholic Church is quite fucked up, because it preaches that sex is not a natural thing, but rather a sinful thing. (outside of marriage, and only if it is ''ordered'' towards procreation)
Aside from the absurdity of an immortal being ''making himself'' mortal...lol
